“Rejoice in the Lord always!” [cf. Phil 4:4]

With the success of the 1st Catholic Social Media Summit in 2012, YouthPinoy joyfully invites you to join the Catholic Social Media Summit v2.0, to take place this 23-24 November 2013 at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Intramuros, Manila.

Registration fee is P 1,200.00/person, inclusive of meals, ID, Kit and CSMS Certificate.  Registration is open until November 17, 2013 at our website

A significant way of culminating the Year of Faith, this summit is a response to the call of using social media to proclaim Christ to the world of the internet, the world of so many young people.  Thus, the summit is open to Catholics who are active in the world of social media, whether parish- or school-based.  It also welcomes those who do ministry in whatever form and those who are engaged in social media for pastoral ministry.

The theme for this summit is THE REVOLUTION with the inspiration from Pope Paul VI’s proclaimation in Evangelii Nuntiandi, n.45:  “The Church would feel guilty before the Lord if it failed to use the media for evangelization.” YouthPinoy recognizes the need to engage people in seeing social media as a platform for counter power and a catalyst for the culture of Christ and the building up of a civilization of love.

Our keynote speaker for this CSMS v2.0 is Msgr. PAUL TIGHE, the Secretary of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Social Communications.  He is part of the team which coordinates the Holy Father’s social media activity and promotes the Pope’s Twitter account @Pontifex.

Attached is the CSMS v2.0 Program together with the messages and endorsement from the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines President Archbishop Jose S. Palma, D.D and CBCP Media Office Chairman Archbishop Socrates B. Villegas, D.D.

For more information, you can email us at or call/msg us at 0917 853 6792.

Looking forward to meet you OMGs (Online Missionaries of God) and together champion Christ in social media!

In Christ,

April Frances A. Ortigas

The Truth About Human Love – Orientations on Conjugal Love, Gender Ideology and Family Legislation

“By its very nature the gift of the person must be lasting and irrevocable. The indissolubility of marriage flows in the first place from the very essence of that gift: the gift of one person to another person. This reciprocal giving of self reveals the spousal nature of love. In their marital consent the bride […]
