SC extends status quo ante order against RH law

MANILA, July 16, 2013 – The Supreme Court Public Information Office headed by its chief Theodore Te said that the Supreme Court En Banc decided with a vote of 8 to 7 to ‘indefinitely’ extend the 120 days Status Quo Ante (the way things were before in Latin) order issued against Republic Act 10354, which was enacted by President Benigno Aquino III December 21st last year.

On July 23 at 2:00 PM the Supreme Court will resume its oral arguments of which Atty. Luisito Liban is expected to argue on the provisions involving the freedom of religion, freedom of speech and academic freedom. (Angelique Guevarra)
